I finished the Hippie Challenge today (Day 24, 12:20:00 with cash $1.117.348) . So if you want to post it, I'd be glad about it.

Here's what I did:

I started as a scavenger and started to trade with narcotics and alcohol. To trade faster, I exchanged the silver-y by a moon-moth and fitted it with a large pod. As I could see I would never get the 1.000.000 together by trading alone, I bought Gamma H3 and packed it with bodyparts.

After I nuked the secret (Laz) base, I sold one unknown origin at Gamme Trading post, but I had to buy a lot of stuff from it to make it have the necessary cash. When it was about day 19 or so, I realized that Gamma H3 alone would not sell bodyparts fast enough to get the million together, so I buyed Alpha A3 and transported half of the bodyparts there. I did the Gang-Boy-mission to get the fusion cell cause it is needed to get to hightower (Not so, Zedo). Gang-Boy never gets attacked, so I didn't need to fight, but it was hard to enter Laz HQ. Laz don't like hippies, I guess.

I went to the abandoned terminal by monorail after having seen Xavier, but the alien ship didn't take of. (Would be too much of a spoiler ...) When I got in the port crater by moth on day 24, I entered the hanger in mass driver 1 and saved the game. I went back to mines trading post and bought a large pod and filled it with gems, then I went to port again (You never know if Titan-credits value anywhere else. Gems will value everywhere.) In the meantime, the other pilots had arrived, too, so it was a close call once again.

Another thing I want to say - your site is just great ! I was about to sell my copy of hardwar some months ago (on eBay), but no one did bid for it. So I looked for information on the game and finally got on your site - and decided to keep the game. So I'm still around and I'm glad I am.
